Our mission
Talent isn't the problem. Visibility is.
Every day, people are creating, building, performing, designing, leading and making things happen. Some are already established. Others are just getting started.
But not everyone gets the recognition they deserve.
We believe discovering someone brilliant shouldn't depend on knowing the right people, following the right accounts or being in the right room.
So we're making a little more room.

Every listing is reviewed by a person. We check that each one is a real, active business or professional, and that it fits what Samla Hue is for.

We're building a space where people can discover, support and connect with communities and businesses they might not otherwise encounter. Everyone is welcome to explore.

We actively seek out voices that are underrepresented, especially in mainstream professional networks.

How we started
A note from our founder.

Founder & Creative Director
When I first moved to Sweden, I struggled to find things I knew existed. A good braider who understood my hair, a creative to collaborate with, a business to support, or simply people with shared interests. I'd spend hours scrolling, searching, and asking around. Sometimes I'd find what I needed. Other times, I'd just give up. And I kept thinking, surely there's an easier way? That's how Samla Hue started. I wanted to create something I wish I'd had when I first arrived, and honestly, something I still need today. A place where a simple search might lead to a new favourite business, a collaboration, a friendship or an unexpected opportunity. Because sometimes, all it takes is knowing where to look.
